Shiftgig, one of Chicago’s hottest and fastest growing technology companies, is actively seeking a dynamic Director of Sales! We're looking for the ultimate sales lead to mentor and develop our inside sales and field sales teams of roughly 15 in Chicago and across the U.S. and quickly growing. You'll manage all aspects of the sales lifecycle, operations and processes on a national basis and have experience working in a fast paced environment for a high growth company.

What you'll do:

  • Drive all aspects of the inside and field sales process including streamlining and aligning prospect lists by vertical and geography, developing cold and warm call communications, evolving the sales pitch and demo for phone, online, and in person meetings, and perfecting the close
  • Oversee the hiring, training and development of the inside and field sales teams (Hunters)
  • Work as a part of the management team to build the sales strategy including national, local, and inside sales.
  • Study the supply and demand variables of our business to prepare service delivery for new business pipeline and potential wins
  • Establish comp programs and sales incentive plans
  • Evolve sales training internally and for new hires
  • Work closely with marketing to develop sales collateral, demos, presentation templates by vertical as well as inbound and outbound lead gen and sales programs
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships
  • Execute strategies to expand customer base as well as growth of current clients
  • Own CRM, sales operations and metrics to manage the full sales funnel
  • Evolve and manage KPIs and achieve revenue targets
  • Develop and manage pricing and contractual policies and processes
  • Assist in developing pricing policies, volume discounts, terms and conditions for high profile national opportunities and potential partners


What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of inside and outside sales and sales management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Highly motivated and works well in a changing environment
  • National sales experience entering new markets preferred
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the sales and operations level
  • Tech savvy with mobile and digital experience
  • Knowledge and experience building out sales comp and incentive plans
  • Understanding of W2 and 1099 labor market
  • Excellent networker
