Shiftgig, one of Chicago’s hottest and fastest growing technology companies, is actively seeking a Community Operations Associate to support our incredible growth and expansion in the Experiential and Event Marketing vertical.  The Community Operations Associate is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by booking quality Specialists for their events and promotions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with staffing, be a strategic thinker and be able to thrive in a fluid environment.


  • Conduct individual interviews, presentations, and trainings to gauge quality of the workforce

  • Identify and match Specialists to opportunities that fit their skills and the client’s specifications

  • Performance management of Shiftgig Specialists within assigned account base

  • Strategize with Account Manager on all staffing challenges and logistics of large or unique client orders

  • Utilize technology platforms to fill client orders in an effective manner

  • Develop strong relationships with both clients and Specialists

  • Ensure successful service delivery through operational execution, constant communication and client advocacy

  • Travel to client sites to guarantee the highest level of service delivery

  • Create and execute local recruitment plans and other projects as needed

  • Maintain effective internal relationships with our Account Management and Community Operations teams
